Term Abroad
Study level 3 subjects alongside UK Students
The Term Abroad programme has been developed to provide International students with a short full-time vocational or academic course.
Study in English in a UK College alongside local students for either one term or a term and a half, with English Language classes included. Students can experience academic study and develop an understanding of their specific subject area.
Venue: Bournemouth or Poole, depending on the programme chosen
Duration: One term, or one and a half terms
Study hours: 15 hours per week
Course dates 1 term: September-December, or January-April
Course dates 1½ terms: September-February, or January-June
Course level: RQF Level 3
Qualification: The Bournemouth and Poole College Certificate
Awarding body: Various, depending on the course – City & Guilds, BTEC, Pearson, etc.
Entry & visa requirements
- 16 years plus. A Secondary School Report with good grades. Academic IELTS Score 5.0 or equivalent.
- Visitor visa up to 6 months
